RHEMA WORD
Pr. Geoffrey Kibombo

Isaiah 55:11 (AMPC)
“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."

In Greek etymology, the word Rhema means ‘an utterance’ or ‘thing said.’
Rhema - spoken word is that word which the Holy Spirit brings to our attention with application to a current situation or need for direction. In most cases, a Rhema word received by; prophesy or reading the Bible applies to a current situation or need. In essence, it is timely and extremely valuable in a Christian's walk with God. Jesus confirmed this point when he said in John 6:63 (ESV) that; "……..The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

Logos is the Greek term translated as 'word,' 'principle,' or 'thought.' It also refers to a universal, divine reason or the mind of God.
Logos - written word refers principally to the total inspired word of God. The bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (MSG) says that; “Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. 17 Through the Word we are put together and shaped for the tasks God has for us."

When God speaks, the scripture helps us to prove it. The written (Logos) word confirms the Rhema (prophetic) word. Every word that comes from God through his servants carries anointing and creating power. The Rhema word is got from;- servants of God inform of a prophecy, through dreams or visions and Holy Spirit.
The Rhema word aligns you to your destiny but if you don't confess it, you will not reach your destiny. Every time you confess the word of God, you activate its power to push you into your blessing.

Difference between Rhema and Logos Word
  • The Rhema word is specifically given to a person but the written word is general.
  • Rhema means spoken word, and Logos means written word
  • Rhema word contains power and Logos word is only black letters in white paper
  • Rhema is subjective and Logos is objective
  • Rhema word is particular (to a situation) and Logos word is general

The word of God is inactive until its creating time - right time when it fulfills what the Maker sent it to do; it never goes away until it has accomplished its task as stated in Isaiah 1:55 above. If you become too busy for God and do not permit Him speak in to your life, you may leave this world without seeing His will for your life - the Rhema word is pivotal for a believer in knowing the plan God has upon one's life. Affirm the Rhema word because every time you confess it, you cause angels to bring it to pass; every problem, challenge and sickness bows before the word of God.

The number one problem that prevents our Rhema words from coming to life is unbelief; God is calling us to believe not to grumble or reason His word. At times when the heart believes, the mind reasons the word which gradually leads to compromise and disbelief; but do not permit your mind to water-down that Rhema word which has been spoken into your life, however, believe it wholeheartedly and you shall see it come to life; don't give God timelines and deadlines, He is your Lord and creator not vice versa.

Those that trust in the Lord shall not be ashamed. Just remind God of his word in prayer; give him no rest until he establishes and makes you praise in the earth. Isaiah 62:6-7 (AMP) says; “ I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day or night; you who [are His servants and by your prayers] put the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence, 7 And give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth.”
Go back and, revisit all the Rhema words and resurrect them.

EXPECTING TO REAP
Pr. James Victor Lubwama

Many times we tend to think that things in life just happen but that’s not the case. Things that come or happen to us are as result of the actions and decisions we have taken in life.

We usually expect to reap even when we have not laid any foundation to receive. In the real world, you can only expect to reap or receive after an action. Our hope to harvest should be based on something - an action taken prior. For example, you cannot expect to pass exams you have not sat for. When you sit for exams, you expect to be marked, score and ranked.

We should only expect to reap from the system put in place. Luke 6:38(NIV) says; "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” When you help the needy, you will be helped because by the same measure you use, you will be judged. When you show mercy and compassion, the same will be done to you and if you don't, you should expect less.

Philippians 4:16-17 For even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need. 17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.”

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT
Pr. James Victor Lubwama

John 4:24 (NKJV)
"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth” We must therefore keep it in mind that God is a spirit.

Prayer is part of worship. It’s a spiritual communication with God where man and God have a dialogue. We humans are both flesh and blood. We exist in two worlds at the same time - flesh & spirit. To communicate with God, we must use our spirits to access the spiritual world. Just like God is a spirit, even the devil is a spirit.

A Carnal Christian can neither communicate with GOD nor cast out the devil. That’s why when God wanted us to understand what he is doing, He had to put on flesh and blood and come into the world. In the same way if we want to communicate with God, we have to move into his world - the spiritual world. Being in the flesh (carnality) is being so mindful of the surrounding (earthly concerns) other than entirely focusing on God. When you pray but your mind isn’t focused on what you are doing, you can’t see God. God has no dealings with the flesh, he only deals with the spirit - the inner man.
This can be related to a phone and its content (Hardware and Software)
ENTITY
HARDWARE
SOFTWARE
PHONE
PHONE HOUSING
OPERATING SYSTEM
HUMAN BEING
PHYSICAL BODY
INNER MAN / SPIRIT

Scenarios
MAN; - You can’t pray & communicate with God because; you are cold in the spirit. Your network with the Holy Spirit is off.
You can’t pray or communicate with God if you are totally dysfunctional. You’re poisoned by worldly systems and pleasure and, your spiritual eyes are blinded.
PHONE; - You can’t make calls because; You have no battery, cell phone is switched off or there is no network.
You can’t use your phone for anything if the software is faulty. Probably if your phone fell in water

Prayer involves; composing yourself, understanding the mindset of God, moving into the spirit, and focusing all your attention on the most high God.

TEMPTATION
Winifred L. Kakumba

It is a desire to do something, especially something wrong or unwise, a course of action that attracts or tempts someone. It is anything that, for any reason, exerts a force or influence to seduce and draw the mind and heart of man from the obedience which God requires of him to any kind of sin.

A person’s inner nature, what he possesses in the inner, spiritual part of his being, determines what he is tempted by on the outside. The temptation fits the true nature of the person being tempted and reveals the possibilities of his nature. Every person actually determines or sets the level of his own temptation, because temptation will come to him in accordance with the level of his controlling, inner nature.

James 1:12-15; - “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.  13When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.”
Temptation comes from evil desire inside us, not from God, It begins with an evil thought and becomes sin when we dwell on the thought and we allow it to become an action. Sin grows more destructive the more we let it have its way. The best time to stop a temptation is before it is too strong or moving too fast to control.

People who live for God often wonder why they still have temptations. Does God tempt them? 1 Corinthians 10:13(NIV)“No temptation[a] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[b] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,[c] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
Beware of thinking that you are tempted as no one else–what you go through is the common inheritance of the human race, not something that no one has ever before endured. God does not save us from temptations–He sustains us in the midst of them. Hebrews 2:18 says; “Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted” and

Hebrews 4:15-16 says; “15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
Can a Christian be tempted? People who live for God often wonder why they still have temptations. Does God tempt them? God tests people but does not tempt them by trying to seduce them to sin. God allows Satan to tempt people in order to refine their faith and to help grow in their dependence on Christ (Job 1:1-22)

Importance of Trials and temptations

  • They shape us; they prepare us for the future
  • They make us strong - James 1:2-4 ”Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”  We certainly do not feel blessed in the midst of trials. In fact, we may wonder if we are cursed. We may wonder in the midst of a trial if it is ever going to end, if there is any real hope that it is going to turn out okay, but there is an end to this time that will be far more glorious than we can imagine in our present circumstances. To endure, like counting it joy, is not something that we do by sheer will power. To endure is to continue to turn to God as our only source of life. It is to count on Him to give us His presence and His peace in the midst of whatever we are facing. And it is to live as if He is working his transforming and redeeming will through this current suffering. It is to wait on Him to give us wisdom and light when all we seem to have to offer Him is our darkness and there is surely an end point. We endure not for the sake of the current chaos, but for the promised resolution. God will bring good out of this, and we count on Him to do this. We await the crown of life which is the same as being "perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."
  • Trials and temptations help us to grow spiritually and in faith
  • They shape our character and morals
  • They make us trust God
  • Prepare us for special tasks so that we can be witnesses and help other believers

How to overcome temptation?
  • Surrender your all (not part) of your life to Jesus. James 4:7 – “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
  • Stay away from; old company, old practices, the old cultures and hang out places, of unbelievers and develop a new culture (2 Corinthians 5:7) of life. 2 Corinthians 6:14 – “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?”

May God give you the grace to overcome temptations

BIBLICAL PROMISES WITH PRECONDITIONS

Mrs. Sarah Mujjabi Mujjuzi

In the world, there are preconditions for accessing certain privileges/ services e.g. banks, telephone services, hospitals etc. The bible tells us that worldly things should teach us heavenly things but we ignore those preconditions that God has attached to his promises. It’s like demanding a right without caring about the responsibility attached to it. God is ready to fulfill His promises but we let him down by;
  • Ignoring the preconditions.
  • Keeping ourselves ignorant about the preconditions attached to his promises.

We therefore have to check ourselves. Below are some of the preconditioned promises.
  1. To be forgiven and get God’s hand stretched to you, you need to forgive others too. (Mathew 6:14 - 15).
  2. Where two or three are gathered, there I will be amidst them (Mathew 18:19), but we don't want to fellowship.
  3. If u have little faith like a mustard seed, you will move mountains (Mathew 21:21, Luke 17:6). Joshua used faith to make the sun stop (Joshua 10:12 - 14)
  4. If you ask anything in the name of Jesus, it will be given to you (John 16:23)
  5. If you get close to him, he will draw close to you (James 4:8). If you obey him, he will be your God (Leviticus 26:3-13). If you love and obey him, he will drive out your enemies (Deuteronomy 11:13 - 28)
  6. If we worship other Gods, He will he will throw us out of the heritage he has given us (1 Kings 9:6 - 9).
  7. Pay your tithe and he will open the widows of heaven and bless you (Malachi 3:10-12)
  8. To be established believe God and if you want to prosper believe his prophets   (2 Chronicles 20:20)
  9. If you want to reap, sow (Galatians 6:7, 2 Corinthians 6:9). Give and it shall be given back in the same measure shaken together (Luke 6:38).

Therefore let us examine ourselves and check how often we fulfill the preconditions so that we don't complain unnecessarily for not receiving God’s promises.

God bless you

THE SAVING HAND OF GOD
Pr. James Victor Lubwama

Isaiah 35:4 (NIV)
Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution, he will come to save you.”
The saving hand of God is available to all of us! Many people usually wonder who God is. "God" is not merely a name but a description of what He can do because He is a creator. He can create babies, pay debts, be a father to the fatherless and do many more other things. His hand is available to save people from all kinds of situations.
Isaiah 54:11-14 (NIV) says;
"Afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted, I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise, your foundations with lapis lazuli. 12 I will make your battlements of rubies, your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones. 13 All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace. 14 In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you”.
God is going to save people from shame, destruction, demotion, debt, sickness and witchcraft. He going to take up the forsaken because;
  1. We are ambassadors of Heaven/ Christ. 2 Corinthian 5:20 says; We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God”And after He has been lifted, He will draw all men to him. John 12:32 (NLT) – And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself
  2. We are heads or leaders. Deuteronomy 28:13 (NIV)…”The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom”
  3. At the cross, Jesus paid it all, so he will give us all that we desire.  Romans 8: 31-32 (NIV) says; What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”
Surrender all, call upon Him and He will come and save you

IMPORTANCE OF FELLOWSHIP
Pr. Geoffrey Kibombo
Hebrews 12:18-24 (NLT)
You have not come to a physical mountain, to a place of flaming fire, darkness, gloom, and whirlwind, as the Israelites did at Mount Sinai……………. 22 No, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful gathering. 23 You have come to the assembly of God’s firstborn children, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God himself, who is the judge over all things. You have come to the spirits of the righteous ones in heaven who have now been made perfect. 24 You have come to Jesus, the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel.”
Fellowship or attending church service is one of the seven pillars of Christianity and very key in a Christian life. Every time we go for fellowship, we are transformed spiritually, emotionally encouraged and our wisdom and perspective on life is stretched. Hebrews 10:25 (AMP) advises; "Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching”.

Authentic Fellowship
Acts 2:42 (NIV) - "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer ."
In scripture above, fellowship was one of the four things the early church devoted itself to. Fellowship was a very important part of their reason for meeting together. It was one of their objectives. But what is fellowship? Why fellowship?
The early church devoted itself to “the apostles’ teaching” and also “to prayer”. Apart from the ministry of the Holy Spirit, these two are important means of spiritual growth, stability and effectiveness in the Christian life. The early Christians didn’t just have fellowship; they devoted themselves to it, because fellowship was a priority and one of the objectives for gathering together.
Some believers have become fed up with church that they seek fellowship through viewing a Sunday service or bible study on television or social media (Facebook live or YouTube) but that misses the picture, because the electronic attendance creates emptiness; for interpersonal relationships are so greatly needed to keep our faith glowing and growing. If you drop off your associations with other Christians and disassociate yourself from them in prayer, worship and learning of the Word, you will run out of spiritual passion. Authentic fellowship involves; getting together for spiritual purposes, for sharing needs, for prayer, for learning and sharing the Word and encouraging, comforting and edifying one another through testimonies. There is no substitute for going to church and worshiping with others of like faith and belief.
English Definition of Fellowship
Let’s get a glimpse of the word fellowship from the English dictionary to see what it might add to our understanding. The dictionary defines it as:
(a) Companionship, company, associate (vb.);
(b) the community of interest, activity, feeling or experience, i.e., a unified body of people of equal rank sharing in common interests, goals, and characteristics, etc.;
(c) Partnership, membership (an obsolete usage but an important one. It shows what has happened to our ideas of fellowship).
There are three key issues that come out of this:
- Fellowship means being a part of a group, a body of people. It is opposed to isolation, solitude, loneliness, and our present-day independent kind of individualism; however, we can still be part of people, even share certain things in common, but still not have fellowship.
- Fellowship means having or sharing with others certain things in common such as values, roles, beliefs, responsibilities, experiences, and concerns.
- Fellowship can mean a partnership that involves working together and caring for one another as a company of people, like a battalion of soldiers or members of a family.
We have fellowship because of a common relationship that we all have together in Christ; it has a spiritual significance and foundation - believers have fellowship and share together because they first of all have a relationship with Christ and share Him in common (1 Cor. 1:91 John 1:3). The idea of an earthly fellowship founded upon just common interests, human nature, physical ties like in a family was really foreign to the apostles. Fellowship is also about sharing together in the sense of a partnership. A partnership describes how we are related to each other in a relationship; we are partners in an enterprise and calling in which we are to work together with common purpose to obtain common objectives for the glory of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ (Luke 19:11; 1 Cor 3:12)

Spiritual Service; Chosen Place
Just like cars are serviced, our spiritual lives too need to be serviced and that happens every time we go to church for fellowship. In our daily life, the devil always targets to divert and confuse us through his lies, but when we go for fellowship, the devil’s lies are demystified and nullified through the scriptures, thus our minds are renewed, we are strengthened and empowered to fight a good fight.
Psalms 107:20 says; “He [God] sends his word, and heals them; and delivers them from their graves”God has a daily solution to the different pressing situations in our lives and He sends His word to save and deliver us from destruction. Every time we go to church service, we receive a healing word, and through His servants, we hear from God directly about His plan for the day, month or year. His word is the answer to the questions we have and the antidote to the lies of the devil. At times we refuse to attend church because we have problems, yet the answers that we need are found in the teachings or sermons preached there. Every time we go to church, we go in the presence of God; into the assembly of angels ready to serve us. Church is not an ordinary place you go to as a scheduled Sunday social routine, no its God’s chosen place, a sanctified ground where we go into the presence of God.
Just like God chooses people to use, He also chooses places where He can dwell and where His people can meet Him. 2 Chronicles 7:16 teaches; For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that My name may be there forever, and My eyes and My heart will always be there.” God is specific – He is God of right places. The location of our church premises is a chosen place. Pr. James Victor Lubwama told us that when God told him to start a church in Nangabo, he was perplexed of the location; but God had already planned it thoroughly; because prior to instructing him, he had instructed a certain lady to offer her land to be used for ministry; and as he was still gathering himself, the lady sent for him, told him what God had told her and gave him ownership documents. Below our church, there is a well where previously witch doctors from Nangabo subcounty used to perform evil rituals, but all that is no more. The church was established in this specific place for a purpose – to uproot evil acts in this subcounty which were very rampant as almost every village had a shrine or two. We are shield bearers (Psalms 18:34) called to train and equip an army of God to make war in the later days. We are called to train prayer warriors and we are established where we are for a purpose – purposefully planted.
Our questions are answered in church; for instance, if you came to church sick, through the scriptures you get to know that God heals all our diseases (Psalms 103:3, Isaiah 53:5) and with the anointing in place, you get healing as well. It is in fellowship that our minds are renewed (Roman 12:2); questions are answered, hope is awakened and doubts are undoubted. Consider the Psalm by Asaph below where he had riot in his mind but found the answers in God’s sanctuary – church.
Psalms 73:2-19 (NKJV) says; ”But as for me, my feet had almost slipped; I had nearly lost my foothold. For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. They have no struggles; their bodies are healthy and strong. 5 They are free from the burdens common to man; they are not plagued by human ills……………….17 till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood their final destiny. 18 Surely you place them on slippery ground; you cast them down to ruin. 19 How suddenly are they destroyed, completely swept away by terrors”

Why become part of a local church?
In a world offering a variety of viewpoints, church is the only place where we can find truth (John 8:26). It is the place you can find counsel and direction when you’re unsure how to navigate an increasingly complex world.
Our belonging to a local church establishes a base from which we can reliably care for others. There are two sides to being part of church: Authentic love is not only manifest in affection and action, but also allegiance. We do not fully love our brothers and sisters in Christ if we refuse pledging our allegiance to them by covenanting with them. Love doesn’t say; “I love these people and don’t need to bond with them.” Rather, it says; “I love these people enough to bond with them.” Living the Christian life is more than just loose associations – it’s an active partnership in the promotion of the gospel and the building up of believers. It’s committing to each other; to be there for each other when life is hard and good; in sickness and in sorrow; in health and joy.
On the flipside, it is for your own good to have believers committed to genuinely caring for you. And the people who will care for you best in the long run are those of like faith who we have authentic fellowship with. I have witnessed this bond, partnership and unconditional love in our church when people have lost a loved one; and when they are a planning a wedding; they stand with each other and support each through it all
The church is not a building, its you and me - we are the church. It’s a family of spiritual fathers and sons and daughters (1 Corinthians 4:14; Titus 2:1–8; 1 Timothy 1:2). It’s a body (1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4) whose neediest members find help (Acts 6:1–6; 1 Timothy 5:9–16), whose generous ones cheerfully contribute (2 Corinthians 8; Philippians 4:10-18), and where each member’s participation and gifts are essential for the whole body to thrive (Romans 12:4–8; Ephesians 4:11–16).

There are a gazillion good things that would hinder you from locking arms with believers of like faith, but as many reasons as you might have not to go to church for fellowship, there are even more reasons to trust God, commit, and go every week.

SEVEN PILLARS OF CHRISTIANITY
Pr. James Victor Lubwama

These are the seven things that help a Christian to be established and have a firm-unshakeable relationship with God.
1.             Prayer
Prayer is simply conversation with God. It’s asking Him to meet your need or someone else’s. It’s about committing and consecrating things to Him. We need to pray about everything and anything because it’s the weapon to overcome. Set aside time everyday especially in the morning to dedicate the day in the Lord’s hands. Pray for God’s guidance, wisdom, provision & protection. Give thanks to the Lord for his protection and pray that he blesses the works of your hands.  When we pray, we open the door for God to come into our situations and problems and work on them (Jeremiah 33:3, 1Chronicles 16:1, Psalms 145:18, 1Thessalonians 5:17James 5:16)
2.            Fasting
Fasting is a spiritual discipline of foregoing a meal or consumption of food for a predetermined period of time. During spiritual fasting, the believer's focus is removed from the physical things of this world and intensely concentrated on God (James 4:8). Great men of faith such as Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Paul and Jesus Himself fasted so that they might draw closer to God. (Daniel 9:3, Mathew 4:2). Set aside a day or particular time to fast and reawaken the connection with the Creator (Joel 2:13).

3.            Worship
This is to appreciate the goodness of God, exalt his marvelous creatures and works. It comes from a different place within our spirits and is reserved for only God (Luke 4:8). It’s the strategy by which we lose self in the adoration of God. It is a lifestyle, not just an occasional activity (John 4:23). Our worship must be toward the one who is worthy simply because of his identity as the Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent one, and not just because God is wealthy and able to meet our needs and answer our prayers. We must therefore focus our worship on the worthiness of God.

4.            Praise
Is the joyful focus on God’s splendid works. It is merely the truthful acknowledgment of His righteous acts (Psalms 95:6). Meditate about His mighty works, lift up His name, sing about His greatness and it will lift up your faith. It is closely intertwined with thanksgiving as we offer back to God appreciation for His mighty works. God is worthy of praise (Psalm 18:3) since He has done many wonderful deeds, (Psalm 89:5, Psalms 150:4, Isaiah 12:5, ).

5.            Reading the word
You need to read the word of God everyday because its life’s manual (Mathew 34:25, Isaiah 40:8). Strengthen your reading muscle by sparing sometime to read the Bible which will ultimately improve your knowledge of the word. Thereafter we should translate God’s word into your life because it was given to us to transform our lives (Mathew 7:24). Read, review, meditate and respond to God’s word (James 1:22-25) because He listens to His word (Psalms 138:2). We have many ways of accessing the word in this era i.e. digitally using tablets, smartphones and computers so spare sometime and enrich your spirit.
6.            Giving
When the devil robs you of giving, you will run poor. The devil weakens your giving of the tithe and to the poor by making your problems to appear bigger than what God can handle. Stingy people usually have little or no faith but they end up losing. Tithe (Malachi 3:10), donate to the poor (Proverbs 22:9, Proverbs 28:27). When giving, also donate to someone you are not related to because when we do it to our family members, we are fulfilling our obligations. Giving is a condition of the heart (Deut 16:17, 2 Corinthians 9:7). It doesn’t matter how much u have, always give as compelled by your heart. (Acts 20:35, Proverbs 11:25, Proverbs 10:4, Mathew 6:3)

7.            Fellowship

Christian fellowship is the mutually beneficial relationship between Christians. In fellowship we are taught the ways of God and the devil’s evil traps. Don’t let life pressures rob of you fellowshipping (Psalms 61:4) but stick to God untill He delivers you out of your situation. Prophesies are fulfilled in the presence of God. You get God’s direction for your life [prophesy] in a fellowship because God speaks to His servants (Numbers 12:6). God never does anything without telling His prophets. Your pastors have your prophetic word so as Christians we should be devoted to fellowship (Acts 2:42).
