AFTER THE PROPHESY

Isaiah 55:10-11
“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it".
Why do some people receive miracles, breakthrough or healing after a prophetic word has been spoken and others don't?
When the word of God (prophetic or Rhema) is sent through His servants, it comes to those who are strategically placed to receive it; God's word or prophetic word works for those who decide to put themselves in the position to receive and believe it; however, sometimes He sends a specific word (Rhema Word) to specific people for a specific reason.
You have the power to convert yourself into that kind of person who realizes the prophetic words, but the question is how?
1. Become a Child of God.
Miracles are for children. It is food for the children: Manna was sent from heaven to the children of Israel in the desert. God sends his Word to his children; if you are not a child you can eat of the crumbs that fall from the master's table. Mark 7:27 “But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”
Who is a child of God? Is one who has accepted Jesus as his or her Lord and Saviour - a child of God can be discerned by the presence of the Holy Spirit in his or her life. It is not those who come to born again churches, because that is not a qualification for Salvation since some are not disciples but just followers. Romans 8:16 says; "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God."
Endeavour to check if the Holy Spirit is still with you. We lose him by; the unorthodox things we do, bad friends we keep and conversations we have.
2. Turn back to God
We get out of the covenant with God when we backslide. This causes us to lose the promises of God, and the relationship with him and the Holy Spirit. A couple of times we are present in church yet our hearts are far from God
Acts 7:38-39 says; “Moses was with our ancestors, the assembly of God’s people in the wilderness, when the angel spoke to him at Mount Sinai. And there Moses received life-giving words to pass on to us. 39 “But our ancestors refused to listen to Moses. They rejected him and wanted to return to Egypt.”
Clean up your act, resolve yourself, repent and turn back to God and his ways.
3. Have Faith in God’s Word
Support your faith with corresponding actions; don't allow things that kill your faith to come near you
4. Believe in God’s Servants – Prophets
2 Chronicles 20:20 (NLT) says; “Listen to me, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Believe in the Lord your God, and you will be able to stand firm. Believe in his prophets, and you will succeed.” Before God does anything, he first speaks through his prophets. The bible says in Amos 3:7 (NLT) that; “Indeed, the Sovereign LORD never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.”
God uses his appointed servants; He speaks through them and His hand is upon them. If you want to see the hand of God, if you want realise the words of God's servants - prophets, you have got to believe in them. Jesus said in John 13:20 (NIV); “Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.”
God speaks to his servants directly and they will hear from him and speak life into our lives; believe in them and you will see those prophetic words come to pass; it’s only the anointing that you submit to and respect that works for you.
