WE DON'T GIVE TO MAKE GOD RICH!!
Pr. James Victor Lubwama

Philippians 4:16-19 (ESV)
“Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. 18 I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. 19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

We don't give to make God rich but for the benefit of what abounds on our accounts. Giving to God benefits us not Him. Philippians 4:17 (AMP) says; Not that I seek or am eager for [your] gift, but I do seek and am eager for the fruit which increases to your credit [the harvest of blessing that is accumulating to your account]”. God doesn't depend on us or our giving, but giving to Him is an opportunity to serve Him with what he has blessed us with. We are what we are because of God not by our own strength. God makes you rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion

Psalm 50:8-14 (NKJV) says; I will not rebuke you for your sacrifices or your burnt offerings, which are continually before Me. 9 I will not take a bull from your house, nor goats out of your folds. 10 For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. 11 I know all the birds of the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are Mine. 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the world is Mine, and all its fullness. 13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats? 14 Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High.”

Jesus did everything for our sake. He put down his life for us so that we can have a good life
2 Corinthians 8:9 (NKJV)
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.”

  1. Bless the Lord so much for he has given us chance to serve him. As for pastor Jvl we respect the anointing for its the reason why we are like so.
